Sunni Wentzel is a trade mark attorney in the Intellectual Property and Technology Team within the Commercial Advice and Litigation Group.

Sunni is a trade mark attorney who specialises in commercialisation, protection and enforcement of trade marks, designs and domain names.

Sunni’s primary responsibilities as a trade mark attorney are to assist client’s in the management of their trade mark portfolio’s and protect clients’ intellectual property rights within Australia and overseas.

Sunni has experience in conducting searches, filing trade mark applications, prosecution of trade mark applications, drafting statutory declarations, drafting agreements and deeds of settlement, preparing advice to clients on the registrability of their trade mark, renewals, domain name registration and prosecution, design registration and prosecution, assignments, oppositions and revocation/removal matters.

She has acted for large multinational companies with large trade mark portfolios, mid-sized enterprises and small businesses in securing and enforcing their trade mark, design and domain name rights.

Sunni has also worked as a project manager assisting the litigation team identify, collate and distribute discoverable documents during cases and transactions.  Sunni also gained experience in online data and deal rooms for divestments, mergers and acquisition and organising electronic tender bundles and appeal books for courtroom.
